When it comes to hiring a contractor to build a pergola, Generations Deck Builders LLC is in a class by itself! GDB takes the time to create a 3D scaled model of each pergola, the models are GEO tagged and then with powerful software, the customer is able to see exactly how the pergola casts shade from the sun at different times of day and different times of year. As you can see from the pictures below, the pergolas are notched together to avoid using unsightly brackets whenever possible. All of GDB’s pergolas are built in 30" deep footings to secure from frost heave and to ensure that they will stand against GDB’s windstorms.
